Founded in 2015, Lilium’s headquarters and manufacturing facilities are in Munich, Germany, with teams based across Europe and the U.S. The Lilium Jet is the world’s first electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing Jet. It unlocks high-speed regional air mobility with zero operating emissions and without the need for large-scale ground infrastructure. The Lilium Jet features two fixed wings, one main wing at the rear of the aircraft, which measures about 11m across, and a ‘canard’ wing at the front of the aircraft, so-called because of its resemblance to a duck.
